Education
Mr. Pantelis Xenophontos graduated from the University College of Osteopathy in London, the oldest Osteopathic College in Europe, and underwent further training in Medical Acupuncture. His passion for sports led him to continue his studies in the field of sports medicine. He completed a master’s degree in Sports Medicine, Exercise and Health from the University College London (UCL), one of the most renowned universities in the field of medicine in Europe.
He practiced in various clinics in London where he founded the PXOsteopathy and Sports Injury clinic in 2014.
He had the opportunity to work closely with elite athletes competing in track & field and endurance events, some of which have represented their countries in the Olympic Games of RIO 2016. Pantelis participated in several events offering track-side cover including the London Indoor Games, England U23&U20 Championships & the European Trials and he was part of the medical team that travelled with the athletes for their international training camp.
Since 2022 he is the scientific collaborator for sports injuries for APOEL Runners and Runner Club ‘Periklis Demitriou’

What is Osteopathy?

Mr Xenophontos offers Osteopathic treatment which may involve any combination of Manual Therapy (manipulation, mobilisation, or neuromuscular techniques, soft tissue massage), Therapeutic Needling Techniques and Clinical Exercise Program. The treatment is tailored to each individual and is encouraged through advice on posture, lifestyle and aid to stress-related problems. This clinical advice aims to help patients understand the nature of their problems so that they can return to their everyday activities as soon as possible.
